Berkeley Lab in School Settings

Berkeley Lab is inviting its employees interested in sharing engaging science activities with local students to participate in the "Electric Circuits" workshop. Employees will learn how to guide 4th graders as they safely explore simple and series circuits, short circuits, and the role of batteries, resistance, conductors and insulators. Students apply this knowledge when they invent their own switch design and share it at an Electronic Inventions Festival. The workshop — part of the Center for Science and Engineering Education (CSEE) Berkeley Lab in School Settings (BLISS) program — takes place on Monday, April 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and should be quite an event!
