SLAC’s Persis Drell Discusses Science and Work-Life Balance

The Women Scientists and Engineers Council at Berkeley Lab is hosting a talk by Persis Drell on Thursday, April 21. Drell is the director of the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) and professor of particle physics and astrophysics at Stanford University. Her talk will cover the unique capabilities of SLAC’s Linac Coherent Light Source, the world’s first hard X-ray free-electron laser.
