ABPDU (Advanced Biofuels Process Demonstration Unit)





Advanced Biofuels Process Demonstration Unit (ABPDU) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility for testing and developing emerging biofuels technologies in a process demonstration production environment. Built and operated with funds from the Office of Biomass Program within the U.S.Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, this 15,000 sq-foot facility is available to Bioenergy Research Centers, DOE-supported researchers, academic institutes, non-profit research organizations, and companies involved in bio-fuels R&D production.
