October is Disability Employment Awareness Month

Signed in 1990, the goal of the Americans with Disabilities Act is to integrate the lives of people with disabilities into the workplace. Did you know that most workplace accommodations cost absolutely nothing and typically around $600? They also have a positive impact at the workplace such as retaining valuable employees, improving productivity and morale, reducing workers’ compensation and training costs in addition to adding value to company’s diversity.
