Would You Like to Inspire the Next Generation of Female Tech Leaders?

The Lab’s Women Scientists and Engineers Council will host a presentation on the “Technovation Challenge” — which seeks to mentor high school girls into becoming more proficient in science and technology by creating mobile phone app prototypes and pitching business plans — on Friday, Dec. 16, at 2:30 p.m. in Building 90-3122. Lab employees with science or engineering backgrounds and interested in mentoring are invited to attend. ALS researcher Corie Ralston will help give the presentation. Mentors are asked to meet with students at least two hours per week for ten weeks starting in February. Go here for more information, or contact Veronica Nero to volunteer.
