National Engineers Week

Einstein said, “Scientists investigate that which already is; Engineers create that which has never been”.

This is the week to celebrate engineers and reach back to inspire the next generation. The National Engineers Week Foundation does exactly that. The Foundation celebrates the positive contributions engineers make to society and is a catalyst for outreach across the country to kids and adults alike. Berkeley Lab honors this by engaging and hiring early-career engineers to contribute to projects that are as exciting as they are important, to the DOE mission that is.

We continue to seek out the best and brightest by working with top engineering schools and providing unique opportunities to those who want to help change the world.

At Berkeley Lab, our engineers have been making scientific dreams a reality for more than 80 years. Engineers pioneer, design, build, integrate, and upgrade the next generation of complex and breakthrough instrumentation required to advance world-class scientific exploration and discovery.
