OCFO Staff Reach Out to Support Those in Need in East Bay and Africa

Employees in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer recently banded together to help improve the lives of those less fortunate. They participated in the East Bay’s Brighter Beginnings Adopt-a-Family program in December, donating more than 80 gifts to six needy families. At the same time, plans were made for Africa Faith-Mission (AFM), a charity that provides support to an AIDS orphanage and small hospital in Kenya, Africa. In January, Dianne Yoder (front row, 2nd seated from left), a division employee and member of AFM, took used vacation days to help out at the hospital and orphanage, carrying six suitcases filled with clothing and supplies donated by OCFO employees. The OCFO Fun/Charity Committee is busy making plans for its event. Best Blogger Tips
